gluing broken door handle

Anyone have any experience trying to use glue to repair an exterior door handle? My son's 2000 driver's door handle broke off (partially). This appears to be a common problem. I've had people tell me that injection molded plastics cannot be successfully glued.

probably not going to have much luck. Atleast not when you go to open the door the first couple of times.

You can probably find one cheap on Ebay if you want one. They are fairly easy to put on also.

If it broke off when it was solid, then what makes you think it's going to last with glue?

Junk yard is good place to get it, or simply buy from them, they have all.
