Help!!!

I drive a 94 toyota camry v6. And this morning, I backed out of my driveway, only to find that I could not go forward. I checked the tranny fluid and its fine, but is there anything else that could be the problem? I'm trying to find an excuse other than my tranny is blown.

For the last few days it has been shuddering when shifting from reverse to drive and vise versa.

Thanks

auto i suppose??

has it had problems shifting any other times? it may be a shift solenoid. it may also be the torque converter. is there a check engine light on? i believe the shift solenoid will put the light on. i know there are obdII codes for it too.

94 should be OBDI . Sounds like a tranny as I believe the shift solenoid would not prevent it from going into first. Although I have been wrong before!

94 1mz has an obd2 port. i am not sure if the protocols are the same as with the 96, but there is a standard obd2 port.
