Just installed a Cyclone II

I wasnt really intending to buy this product. But it caught my eye while I was an accessory shop. I was intending to buy the Pivot Raizin Spark Type S, but ending up buying a Cyclone II as well. The Cyclone IIIs were out on display already but the shop wouldnt sell it to me, until he sold off all his Cyclone II stocks. I had read about this product, also known as Tornado in USA, and Tornado website has a lot of videos and testimonies on this.

I was not willing to buy 2 at $112 on special offer, so they sold one to me at $62. A lot of money for a piece of metal, but I suppose Im paying for the R&D. And this is original stuff endosed by the korean inventor. Comes with warranty card too. LOL.

Installation was a breeze. Took the installer like 5mins. Here are some pics:

Conclusion: Hey my idling seems to be even smoother! Why is that? Shouldnt be. Swirling air is not passing thru the throttle plate which is fully close at idle, but rather thru the tiny passages of the IAC, which swirling air should make no difference. Well maybe its my imagination. Hows the power? Cant really tell until I do a 0~100kph test. But my imagination tells me its working well. Hehehe. So I do two 0~100kph runs. Any improvement in timing? Nope. LOL. Maybe I should spend more money and add a 2nd cyclone. Hmmmm..... Frankly Im still more impressed with this product than the Pivot Raizin Spark Type S. Maybe I'll leave it in since its only a piece of metal.
