Australia low idle and drops lower than 500 need help

when i stop at the lights or car is in idle the revs drop low and some times gets to low and cuts the engine off espacilly in reverse

i have a new air filter in it and also just added fuel injector cleaner in the tank

any one know what might be ?

i think the throttle body might need cleaning ?

Cleaning the throttle body is a good place to start. Make sure you spray some cleaner in to the square hole at the base of the throttle body. That's the idle air control valve and they have a tendency to get gunked up and will sometimes stick. If that doesn't help, try cleaning the carbon out of the EGR valve. Also, look for a vacuum leak.

looked at the throttle body and was completely clean and checked some valves and no leaks or dirt, but i cleaned a little amount or oil and crap around the air filter seems to run better but still idle about 600-700 i also got a new fuel filter but the nuts are too hard to get off ill get mechanic to put the new one is as i have try every thing and wd40.
