Alright guys! First off, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hope you guys got everything you wanted! Well, since it is Christmas, I have a little spare cash I was wondering if the Intrax springs really would cause a major difference (look wise) on my 1989 Camry LE. Also, do I need any special equipment to install them? Or do I need any other equipment besides the springs themselves? Thanks again. And also, if anyone has pictures of their Gen2 Camry's before and after putting the springs on, it would be a great help! Thanks.
you're going to need a spring compressor and an impact gun would help. other than that it's fairly straight forward i installed them myself with my friend at my friend's dad's shop but then i had all the tools at the shop also took about 3 hrs with a million smoking breaks. But it can be done w/o an impact gun just make sure you have a big breaker bar and a 19mm socket. but the spring compressor is a must, i've replaced the struts to kyb b4 i put in the intrax by hand took almost a whole day and i have to bring it to a shop to get the springs into the strut.
before picture(i think)
after (rims too)

I have a 90' Camry DX that I installed intrax springs and tokico struts on. It is a I4 but the v6 should have close to or more difference. My suspension was used so the pics I have are after the suspension has settled. As you can see there is a big difference in appearance. Since my springs were already used I didnt have to compress them but it is a pretty straight forward install. Remove old suspension replace with new. Anyway Good Luck. Heres the pics. I also have closeups if you want.

sorry to hear about your surgery. glad to see it all came out alright tho.
ok, the only special tool you'll need is the spring compressor. everything else you'll use is basic tools. im not really sure what a spring compressor costs but i think mayb you can rent one from a garage or a parts store then take it back for a refund.

yeah, i'm gonna start modding her pretty soon, just don't know what to start on first i'm thinking tinting the windows first, 20% in the back, 30 in the front?
thatd b cool. 30% too light for my taste. mine is 20% all the way around and it looks pretty good i.m.o. its all up to how u want it to look and how picky the cops are in your area i suppose.

see, that's what i'm afraid of, i don't want to get pulled over for something stupid like that, you know? but i'll probably go 20% all around...but i'm doing it myself..i'm going to buy the tint and tools from tintkits.com and try to do it myself..think it'll be hard?
