Part number for Check Engine light bulb - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I had my Camry inspected and the mechanic told me that the Check Engine light bulb was missing. The previous owner had pulled it out so it would not light

The Toyota parts department did not know the part number so they could not sell me a new one.

Does anyone know the part number for the bulb or know if I can use a generic one?

If you go to auto parts store and ask for #74 bulb, that would be the part. No need to go to dealer.
