this year started bad

well to start if off me and the oldlady might spit up. i'm in a hotel and not at work
and when i left i guess i didnt put the trunk down all the way and after about 1hr. of driving i stoped to smoke.(had my kids in the car) the wind was blowing hard coming from behind me. as soon as i stop the trunk flyes open. i get out and think WTF???? and close it. but 5 hrs later i go to open the trunk to get the stuff out it will not open. so i forced it open.(my girls stuff was in there) then i look befor i close it and it is bumped in about 1/8 of a inch. it might of forsed the hinges in that mush or i might have bent the hinges and that is the way its going to sit. and it is raining so hard that i cant go look and see if i can fix it. may be tomarrow. anyone eles ever have something like this to them. and what was it. i need to fix it as soon as posibule

so your trunk won't open then? well, if anything, you can grab what you need by pulling the back seats down. it won't fic anything but it'll help you grab what you need...

sorry to hear about what happened bro, hope things patch up =D

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about all that, Mike. I hope things turn out for the better.

Are you sure your car wasn't hit while it was parked or somethng? An impact could've bent/moved the lock mechanism a little, and its not sitting right inside. My friend's '89 Corolla had that happen. He was hit (very very lightly) from behind, but the impact was enough to bend his lock a little bit and after he initially opened his trunk, it wouldn't close again.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

okay finaly got a chance to look at it. i got it to the point i can open it but what happend was when it slamp open it did push the hinges over. put not the ones i can get to right now.(the ones right on the trunk.) but the ones i need to get to from under the rear cover. and sence i dont have any of my tools with me i cant get to it. so now i just made it to where i have to aline the whole thing now. and that is a pain in the ass. but atleast now i can open the trunk.
