Whats that smell??

.. before i drive my car, everything smells normal.... but for some reason, after i drive about 2-3miles.. i can smell somthing burning and see a lil smoke.. some people said it was oil on my spark plugs.. is this true.. and the "boot" thing on my spark wire plugs doesn't sit flat in the engine.. like one side is stuck in and the other is out and when i push it back in, it slowly slides out again.. anyone know how to fix this?... thanks

the smell is probably oil leaking onto the exhaust form either a leaking valve cover gasket or bad oil cooler o-rings.

as for the plug wires, are they the original. IF so it may be time for some new ones. they dont last forever.

There is no filter on a 92. That funny smell is usually mold in the a/c ducts. Once the a/c is shut off, water condenses in the ductwork and eventually mold forms. Think of bringing a cold piece of pipe in to a warm environment. Condensation forms almost immediately. One thing you can try is to get a can of Lysol and spray it into the vent openings just below the windshield. These are the openings on the outside of the car. A second person inside the car moving the vent controls to all the vent positions while you are spraying would help matters along. This will spread the Lysol throughout the system.
