1mz turbo setup

What up guys, first i wanna say ive looked around for what im asking so i dont need any post whore queens to try and tell me to search. All of you 1mz turbo guys, what turbos are you using? Yes i know the CT26 is a popular choice, but im looking to put down anywhere from 300-350 to the wheels by the end of my build. I plan on boosting at a low psi (maybe 4) at first until i get my internals forged, then dyno tune again and set the boost at around 10-12. I know a T3/To4e hybrid would lag like shit when im only boosting at 4 on stock internals but im ok with that, i dont want to start off with a small turbo and wish i had gone with something bigger by the end. Are there any supra parts that can be used in a 1mz turbo setup? Did you mount an O2 bung in your Y pipe? I know that sometimes you can take a part from the same car company and a lot of the times it will be compatible with another car made by that same company. Im going down to ADS, for those of you whole live in the phx area, today to talk to them about possibly doing a rear mounted turbo setup. Any write ups anyone has on a 1mz turbo setup id be glad to check them out. And like i said before, please no book nerd post whores trying to look bad ass by telling me to search, im just trying to talk to people here who have done a 1mz turbo setup and can give me any pointers. Yes i know zoni has done it but i dont wanna bug him. Pretty much im just trying to find out the best turbo for putting down around 325 to the wheels without nasty lag...Thanks

Try this one out
TOny is running a 94 1MZ and is putting 392 Hp at the wheels. I am sure when he sees this he will post something in here.

I believe there are only two or three people that are actually running turbo 1MZ's. With Tony's probably being the most extreme.

This is a search for all post started by TOny, the vast majority of them have something to do with is buildup over time.

Zoni will porbably post here by the end of the day. You might want to look into the turbo he's using, a Garrett GT32. Although you might just want to go with the 35R, that turbo should relaly be able to open up on the 1MZ and give you the power you need without killing the turbo much.
