rattling sound... suspension?
I just bought a used '99 camry, 95K miles. I've noticed there's some dull rattling (for lack of better description) noises -- kind of sounds like something is loose -- but only at low speeds on rough roads and speed bumps. It sounds almost like some luggage moving around in the trunk, but the trunk is empty and the spare tire and tire tools are secure. I'm guessing it's something in the rear suspension, but it doesn't seem to exactly correlate with the car's movement when I go over rough spots, and I can't replicate just by bouncing the car when it's stopped. Any guesses what it might be? The seller says shocks and struts were changed a few thousand miles ago. There's a receipt for "sensa trac" struts. thanks.
