Gen5 Front Strut Bar Only?

Hi,

I'm looking to improve the handling characteristics of my '03' LE. I just want less body roll and more "crisper" cornering when turning. Looking underneath at the rear I discovered that there is already a sway bar factory installed. Would just the addition of a strut bar up front do? Would an aftermarket sway bar make a difference?

Every car has a rear sway bar from factory. If you didn't have a stock sway bar, you'd probably flip over. An aftermarket sway bar will make a world of difference in handling.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

just a tower bar alone is very miniscule in performance. rear sway bar will do wonders. shocks and springs will do even more.

Thanks for the reply,

So looking towards the least costlier option, would it be enough to:

a) install a front strut brace along with using the factory sway bar

or

b) remove and replace the factory sway bar with an aftermarket one, foregoing the front strut brace.

Thanks

Thank you for your prompt responses,

Looks like for now I will be replacing the rear sway bar with one from TRD or Whiteline.
I guess when finances allow me to, then I will be looking into getting front strut brace.

Thanks

Incorrect. Quite a few Gen 2's here in Australia don't have RSB's...

I installed a front strut tower brace. i see the difference immediately. i can now take highway exit ramp turns at 65 to 70 miles an hour with greater smoothness than before. before the car would sway too much and i had to brake it down. now i can smoothly handle the g-forces... not bad...
