this recently started happening more and more...what happens is that when i turn the ignition, absolutely nothing happens! i would turn it all the way, and the car would react one little bit, nothing, not a single noise or antyhing. just now, when i went outside, i couldnt even turn the key in the ignition, like as if something is blocking it...please help, this is getting annoying, especially when i gety out of the movies with my g/f!

Maybe your chip is faulty. Use your spare key to see if it works.

If you cant turn the key at all, could be the steering lock.

I had this problem a few time. It cud be something as small as the battery cable isn't tight enough. Believe me, something so little can cause that even if you think its tight, tighten it down more. One the other hand, it cud be the neutral start switch. I don't know where or even if cams have one but I know my friend has an 88 bronco and he had that problem and his neutral start switch was broken. Your car wont start (if you got an auto) unless its in park or neutral.
It cud be a variable of things. Best bet is to take it to a small town mechanic that doesn't charge too much for labor and have him look at it and tell you whats wrong with it. That way if its something small you dont have to pay him for something that u cud do. Is there any electrical currents goin on? can you turn on your headlights, and if you can are they really dim? if they are dim it cud be your alternator. Note* I am not a car EXPERT but i know my way around my cam. Like i said, i eud advise you to go to a mechanic, since they know what they're doin. Hope u get it fixed
