ADVICE on new RIMS please !!

The 15 inch V6 XLE wheels on 4 cyl DX Camry??

I'M GETTING THEM FOR 200 DOLLARS. 25 DOLLAR SHIPPING SO 225 DOLLARS.

THEY ARE 5 (DOUBLE) SPOKE. 15x6 XLE 15 INCH WHEELS.......................
MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID THAT 200 MAX........... SO IS $225 A GOOD PRICE?
Can I negotiate with junkyard guys?

Is it worth going from 14 inch DX hubcap look to the 15 inch XLE wheels on my 4 cyl DX stickshift for this much money?
Considering it is 10 years old now with 135k miles. I will keep the car for atleast next 10 years. Bought it for 3000 two months ago.

I can sell my old wheels and hubcaps and get some money back. May be $100 for all so in a way this transaction would cost me 100 dollars.

I say go for it. If you can get all wheels for 200 plus shipping and they are in good condition. I know you ahve mentioned in the past you dont like to go with aftermarket wheels and things because you want to keep the stock look. THis way you can get an upgraded wheel and still maintain the stock appearance of the car. GOing to XLE wheels is not going to be noticeable to anyone except people that know your car is a DX.

As for negotiating with the junk yard. Maybe maybe not it is hard to say. IF it is a junk yard you are buying them from and they are shipping them then maybe see if you can get them for 200 shipped. They knock off the cost of shipping at least. NOt that they will do it but it doesnt hurt.

I know if I could go out and buy a set of XLE wheels right now I would. I like the way they look on the Camry. MY brother in law has a 94 V6XLE and I keep telling him when he decides to sell the car or trade it ro whatever he does with it I want the wheels.

Cyorke............... U WERE the last driving force that pushed me over the edge and I ORDERED THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No. He won't take a single penny off.

Now HOPEFULLY I should have FOUR V6 XLE wheels WITH CENTER CAPS and lugnuts for $225.00.................. I don't want the SE 5 spoke ones. I repeatedly asked him that they were from the XLE and he said YES. I hope the order is right and they were the exact wheels I want. He said that they were 5 (double) spoke. The SEs are 5 double too so I am not sure if he knows what he is doing.

It takes 3 to 4 days and I will now go through INSOMNIA........ No sleep for me...

Will decorate them in my garage until I need new tires (say 6 more months).

THEN I will take old wheels/hub caps (14 inch) and sell them and hopefully get some money.

God........... help me with this....... Don't break something in my car now so I don't regret spending 200 dollars on the wheels........

I think you got a good deal. My brother in law lost one or two of his center caps and I think jsut one of them on Ebay was almost 20 bucks after shipping and all that. so if you had to replace jsut eh centers they would cost almost half of what you paid for all four wheels.
