Do I really need to regap this plugs?

I just bought some Denso platinum spark plugs (PK20TR11) to replace the plugs in my Solara. The manual says the gap should be .043. The Denso's are .044. Do I really need to try to regap these? If so, how the heck do you do it? These plugs have the two electrodes that meet at the center electrode.

You dont have to regap them, they actualy require less
voltage to fire so thats why they have a larger gap,
just put them in.

I spoke to Denso about this very question a few years ago when I first saw the double electrode plugs that came with the car. It was at 60,000 miles and they needed replacement. There advice to me was "just put them in." I did and the car has been fine for the last 32,000 miles.

its been my understanding that platinum plugs shouldnt be regapped anyway. always says so on the packaging that ive seen. though ive only looked twice, for my car and a friends car. besides....1/1000th of an inch? do you really think itll make much difference?
