4th Generation Carbon Fiber Trunk

Just tryin to find out from you camry guys what you think about this trunk. Is it worth the money . Does it really cut that much weight? And if I wanted to do some type of tail light mod, Is carbon fiber hard to work with? I've heard its very hard to modify. As soon as I hear back from Vis about the price, Im pretty sure im going to order one for my gen4 .......

cf hood is for the look... if you buy a cf trunk for weight, you should look else where on losing weight...

If your looking into carbon fiber replacement for losing weight start with replacing the hood, not the trunk. Is it worth it? Thats all about personal taste, what you like.

I think its more for show than weight loss, unless you got a custom entire front end in c. fiber (carbon creations 350z) Imo. It looks nice on some cars on not so on others. What colour is your camry? Got any pics?

looks pretty smooth, don't believe i have ever seen that kit before...looks kinda like a modified black widow!

to modify, you could alway modify with fiberglass, and then just be creative with the paint sheme. i see many c/f hoods getting two-toned or what not, so that's one suggestion. as far as modifying, like cutting or adding, im not sure if you could do it and still keep the smooth weave pattern going without major modification or cover up paint. just information i have gathered. but it could be wrong.
