Another engine swap ??

Ok, lets just say i ran into a v6 1mz engine... i have in my 92 cam the i4.. would it be very hard to swap them?... would i have to get a new trans?... could i use factory monts and holes to mount the new v6?.. thanks


ps.... is there any other engines i could swap with little effort... like a supra or a celica or something?

You basically need to swap everything under the hood and under the passenger side dash to make it work.

This would include the engine, transmission, wiring harness, ECU, and on and on. THere are several threads about this that you can search for info about doing it. It is possible but not easy to do.

As for other engines. Do a search! There are umpteen thousand threads about engine swaps. Which ones are doable and which ones arent.
