i was wonderin y i dont have one of those cool little doors in the space underneath the radio. all i have is a whole :cry: . so y dont i have a cool door like everyone in their pictures

Okie doke...but yeah...It's probably something similar to I said. If you try to check which cars trims have a hole instead of a box, you should come up with some sort of pattern.......

When i was at the dealer looking at my cam there was a hole under the radio. THen once i bought the car, they polished and cleaned it, ansd there was a door over top of the hole. I think it's just a certain peice that you can put in or take out. A toyota dealership would have a 100% answer for you.

Gen2's do not come with them. I'm pretty sure they put the doors on Gen3's and up.

My gen3.5 did not come with a door so I bought one for $30usd at the dealership.
Yes, yes... thats quite expencive for a little piece of plastic but the compartment is completely 100% useless with out the door.
I might be swapping mine out now for a Kenwood digi EQ tho.
