That's like a Camry Solara convertible before they actually made Camry Solara convertibles. Only it's in not-so-perfect shape and it has bad wheels...

He should have used a Coupe, that is obviously a 4 door. But he gets an "e" for effort and "t" for nice try.

i actually like the idea...and how the front bumper is molded to the body. but yeah,if he were to use a quote (and i assume it's a he) then it might've came out better. to each his own...and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I'd say nay to this one but go ahead and try it on a coupe.

see the cracking at the seams? yeah thats what happens when you do that type of body filling at the joints... they never stay solid.

as far as the overall approach... its stupid. the camry wasnt designed like that, and is NOT stable without the roof. he must not drive it too much, at least i hope not...

i was thinking that would be a cool idea but i would use a coupe to do it and i would make it a hard top convetable. and i was also thinking of a custom cover for the rear seats to make the body more struckerale(sp?). but i wouldnt do like that it would look like it was ment to be a cover.

I really want to believe that something like this could work out well when designed properly. - Less boxy down the bottom, better rims.

I thought the same thing too. By cutting off the roof he took away a lot of the body rigidity. I bet that car flexes like crazy around corners.
I do see that he has a lincoln continental in the background. It looks like a nasty 80s model though. 60s and early 70s all the way!!
