i Know ive seen several people who have changed the color of the dash lights (usually green)... I was wondering if any one could tell me where to get the small covers that fit over the bulbs..
i am looking for blue ones...I thought some one said autozone but autozone said to go to the dealership..and the dealership said they do not have any.. so if any one can give me some info ...thanx
I could not find any colored sleeves, so I just colored over mine with a red Sharpie marker for about 25-30 coats. It has been like this for 3 or 4 months and no problems with it yet. But if you do find somewhere that sells them let me know because I would like to get them colored the real way.

They should have some at the dealership, because the TRD shop by my house has them. I am in the same boat you are in. Instead of getting covers i'm just thinking about getting blue bulbs. I think they are Type 194's, but i'm not exactly sure, but I bought 4 pairs anyways, incase i ever blow out a turn signal, or something. I'll keep you posted if they work.
u can get the covers from autozone, they usually have them where the neon lights are set up, and u shud get an extreme white turn signal to make ur light look blue, I had it on my car, but took it off.
ok last night i changed out the 194 bulbs with blue 194 and it looks good except for 2 things....
1. The lower right side arounf the 140mph is still whiet since i couldnt find a cover small enough
2. now for some reason my airbag light is on ..(did i hit something when i had my dash off?)
ill post pics when ever i get a chance and i finish

I did mine red, and i used Polarg Red Bulbs:
but before they could go in the stock bulb sockets they needed a slight modification (easy) which involved bending the bulb wires and cutting the "loops":
final product has the same problem as mosil... the end of the speedo gauge is not as well lit... anyways i love it:

did you unplug your cluster???
youll have to reset the cpu.... i had the same problem.... there was a post awhile back that showed me how to do this.... youll have to look it up ....or ask around...
When i did this i unhooked everything from the back of the instrument to get it out of the dash....
I searched and found how to reset the light. I did it and the airbag light blinked and the cruise control light blinked... and when i unhooked the stuff to see if the light was gone ..it was still there.
I used red APC 194's in the gauge cluster of my Gen4. Worked rather well, except it seemed one of the bulbs wasn't evenly colored. Plus the red on the cluster had some weird properties, didn't look evenly colored if light hit it at certain angles. Oh well, still looked killer.
