Camry Rear Trunk Parking lights

I've replaced the two parking/brake light bulbs, I think they are 1157s on the rear trunk of my 93 Camry Sport LE in the same opening as my rear backup light (that works) and the bulbs don't work, is there a fuse for this or I have a potential wiring problem. The outside rear parking lights are working. Has anyone experienced this ?

thanxs,

Harvey.

Same problem...just check out the wiring harness as mentioned in the other post...I can almost guarantee you a wire has totally snapped.

BTW, I had the exact same problem...brake lights didn't work in the center piece...it's a very common problem.

thanxs Henry, will do, I will keep you posted.

Well, finally checked the wiring, and Henry you were absolutely correct, apparently there were 3 wires that were completely cut off, the ones that control the rear brake lights. I mended it up with wiriing snip/snap connectors from crappy tire, and wrapped it up again...its works great.

Harvey.
