So you can get a v6 camry with all 4 disk breaks. well does anyoneknow where i can look up the steps to do so? because i have a 4 cylinder 98 camry and i would like all 4 disk breaks if im going to put more horse power into it.
i appreciate any responces.

If i remember right all XLE trim levels came with discs all the way around in the Gen3 so it is possible to find a Gen3 I4 with rear discs. Or was it if you got ABS on the Gen3 you got rear discs.

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!
you can lock all 4 brakes with any of the standard set ups, just need better tyres
bigger brakes for better feel (and thefore control)

You are correct with your second thought. The 4 wheel discs came only with the ABS option on the 4 cylinders. This was an $1100 option when I purchased my 94 new. I don't think the technology existed back then to do ABS with rear drum brakes; but that's just my guess.
