Tein Coilovers or Tokico Struts/shocks and tein springs

whats the advantage to getting the Tein Coilovers other than being able to adjust the height (and ride quality i guess). the Pimp EDFC is nice though ... it's about 4-500 more than the Tokico/Tein combo... Is is worth the money?

well if ur gonna go to a track, u drop it down, and when u street, u lift it back up...

edfc isn't big use if you don't have extreme road condition varying to where you have to adjust it to f it the bumpy roads ur on and adjust it back when the roads even out..

of course, if it snows, u can raise it, drop it when its dry, which the tokicos can't do.. so

i'd say u really don't need it unless u use ur camry for track driving as well ?

H. Tech drop you very little (less than 1"), but they are the best springs for ride quality. I'm running on Tein S. Techs, and they drop more than the H. Techs, but they lose a little bit more of the ride quality. Then again, though, I'm on stock struts. If I upgraded to KYBs, it'd probably feel a lot more like stock. I say S. Techs. Also, springs and struts will offer better ride quality than coilovers, from what I've been hearing.

I'm on Tein coilovers because I wasn't satisfied with the drop of springs and I needed new struts. If you like the drop of springs then go with springs. What sucks is the EDFC isn't available for our application.

after having coilovers on the DD application of the SBC... i think i might pick up some springs and struts for the driving, as i am not at the track that often, and when i do go it is usually the drag strip, and the springs and struts are fine at my speeds

if u like the spring drop, then stick with them, you back and everyday driving will thank you imo... besides on my coilovers, i didn't even slam the car huge cuz it was so low already
