Australia Power Enterprise Camcon VVTI - Controller

Hey there guys,

im from down under and was wonderin has any installed and tested this VVTI controller if so hows the power output and torque and is worth it?

The below is their homepage advertising its first VVTI controller on the market today

http://www.power-enterprise.co.jp/pr...con/camcon.htm

I have read a test car of 1.8 Corolla auto that has 103 kw at the flywheel fitted with mild exhaust and using standard panel filter. however the test was measured is at the wheels.

Test shows on dyno standard is 66.6kw at the wheels once VVTI controller installed fitted and dynoed it produced 71.5kw at the wheels thats like a 5 kw gain at the wheels how much is that at the flywheel?

What do you guys think of it? i think it would be beneficial for a Camry..

yes i have the power enterprise cam-con...and yes it is very good...first off you can re-adjust your a/f ratio which was awesome...and also you can reset your valve timing...i also got it dynoed and i got right around 15-17 whp from it completely...i'd say i got around 8 whp from adjusting my a/f ratio (i was running real lean like 15.5 when it's supposed to be 13) and i got around 7-9 whp with the adjustment of my valve timing...so overall it was a good investment for me and i think it will be beneficial for yourself...torque i think i got an extra 10 lb ft of torque or somewhere in that range (not sure of exact numbers)

there isn't much of a difference in fuel economy...w/ engine components i have done exhuast with 2.5" piping 4" outlet, jp performance 4:1 headers and injen SRI and camcon overall probably about 28-30 hp
