Fuel Filters for a 1MZ

How often does it have to be changed and how much does it cost?
My dad says my car need to have it changed and I can't find anything in the Owner's Manual about it

He probably meant he changes his oil filter every 8K.

every 60k should be fine

The dealership will tell you it's a lifetime filter, so it never needs to be changed.

Filters clog eventually

Have fun changing it for the very first time.

You'll need at minimum a flare nut wrench set, and a lot of cussing. The nuts are on super tight (sometimes it takes two people to get the nuts loose)

I think I will get mine changed, as the car has like 140,000K on it... it's probably about time!
