Hey there, lighting about hooking up some strobe lights in my back up lights.. the lights I bought didn't come with any kind of instructions soo yea.. it has 3 wires, black, red; black is probly ground and red is probly power, and it has a switch.. which I don't know how to hook up.. i went and bought a inline fuse and put a 15amp in it, now not sure how to get it done

Hook it up together with the power wire. Then just strip your reverse lights and connect the wires respectively and you should be good to go. Remember to wrap up connections properly with electrical tape to prevent fire hazards.
I think that's illegal. Usually "strobe"-like illumination is only used on emergency vehicles like first-response, ambulances, fire trucks, police etc.

well.. it's only for then the vehicle is parked, so no it isn't illegal.. oh and kiss me ass Jeeves.. they were free from a friend who had them on his eclipse, so I just threw them in there for something to do.
they arn't my back up lights, but the reason I put them there is because on my shifter the revese lights sensor has moved so the b. lights only come on when I like hold it almost in park.. it's pretty shitty.. and I put them in the back up lights cause I liked the way it looked, I plan on putting some in the headlights as well.. probly my brights since I don't use them that much
trucks in australia are starting to get super quick strobe indicator and brake lights now.. they are much much much more noticible.
