Where do I get a header flange

I want to build a custom header for my car, but I don't know where to get the flange that bolts to the head. I'm guessing I'd have to get one machined, but I figured I'd ask here first.

go to the wreckers and flog yaself a stock header/manifold.

now that wasnt hard was it...

easy to find 5sfe headers (pacemaker etc)
3vz and 1mz dont benifit enugh from an exhasut system alone to warrant the effort for those engines.

go to a parts store and buy a manifold gasket, then have a machine shop cut you a flange, from there its up to you.

I like the gasket plan. I've tried to weld to cast before, and it sucks. I'll have to see what my machine shop would charge me.

^ Cast iron is hard to weld to. It absorbs a lot of heat.

If you have access to a torch or plasma cutter, its possible to make your own.

Otherwise I'd look into having one CNC'd.

Whoever is building the headers for you will be able to do it. It is the easiest part of the job!

Those flanges are on ebay quite often. The same flange that fits a 3sgte also fits the 5sfe.
