Gen5 Repair Manual

I was wondering if anyone has the electronic version of the repair manual for the gen5, like the one posted for the gen3. If not, would anyone be interested in splitting the ~$50 for the pdfs?

If we could get a few more heads on it, I'm down.

I'll throw in on the repair manuals, as long as I get a pdf copy of course

Thats fine by me. Are these the Toyota Service Manuals? The big extensive ones? Or is this like... Haynes or Chiltons?

I should mention that it is for the 03-04 Models, but should be good for the other gen5s:

Well, considering that the 2002-2003 are identical, and only very very slight modifications were done to the 2004's (very slight bumper change-pretty much unnoticeable, an "Airbag ON" light near the clock, no OBD canister on the intake, and no cover in over the headers in the engine bay). Other than that, they're identical, so it'll be fine.

Anyone else want to pitch in for this? The more people we get, the cheaper it'll be for everyone.

I'm in... look at my other thread about my door. This manual will tell me how to take apart the door, right?

^How I think its going to work is that we'll all just paypal drunken_panda our share, he'll buy it, and he'll send it to all of us. He's been here for quite a while now, so I trust him. He'll let us know later where we can PayPal him.

With 6 people, that makes it $7 per person, which is a steal for what we're all getting.

landofvanilla, yes, it will. The Toyota Service Manual is supposed to be an all-encompassing repair manual that the Toyota Service guys use, so it should contain that information.

So it looks like that he only accepts cash, checks and money orders. I will send one out tomorrow, so anyone else who wants to jump in before noon PST tomorrow. It might take a while for it to get there and him to cash it.

This file might be pretty big, so I can send out CDs if you pay for shipping.
