Is there a REAR STRUT BRACE for the Camry?

Well I know there isnt one specifically made for the rear strut towers of the camry but can one be retrofited or something? I want more stability but dont see the reason I have to go thru the trouble of getting and installing a rear sway bar when a rear strut tower brace would do. Can anyone think something?

Japan More Stability?

Im not sure what you mean by "more stability" - this is a front drive car and so of course, nose heavy and prone to fish tailling etc. for sure if driven hard - here's my two cents worth -
1. I'd try more weight in the back, (some people relocate their battery to the trunk for this reason, requires a really long cable and more powerful battery due to longer cable run to the starter)
2. Maybe lowering the springs an inch or two,
3. different shocks and wider tires. I'd also see what Toyota has to say on this, if they sell it it wont be cheap but it'll work, more or less.

you have no idea what a strut brace and sway bar do, do you?

and you already have one. its called the 'parcel shelf'

if you want a retro fit, get some 1" steel and weld it in.

Getting the rear sway bar from a 97-01 camry would actually be a lot easier to do, I think all you have to do is to make sure you keep your stock bushings.

There is no need for a rear strut brace for the camry, nor do they make one. That part of the car is one of the strongest points on the unibody. Get a Whiteline or TRD sway bar and you will feel the strength you want. You could always go custom, but if you decide to put a bar across to tie the rear together you will have to make a new deck lid because the bar will sit up just a little highr than the lid. I know this from experience. IMO I would go and buy a rear sway bar and be done with it.
