lost on low end TQ??

Hi guys, i just put my magnaflow muffler in with dual tips and with just the muffler Magnaflow rock!!!!everything still stock and hope put the intake this weekend. sound so deep plus not really annoying for cruisin but roar nicely when i gunned it definetly head turner.probably the the V6 help . but my concern is why i fell that i lost power on low end torque.example like from dead stop before i just put in on D the car just move nicely but now i must put on 2 to make more power to move but really nice power on mids to high Rpm. is this normal or just take a while for the cat to settle in.thanks guys.

ummm putting it in D and in 2 should act exactly the same as the auto will start the car at 1st gear then 2nd.

The only thing that is different is that it hold it at second instead of going into 3rd and 4th.

thats what i thought.

your brain is telling you that you should be going faster.

itll pass in time, and be replaced with thoughts of "why did i spend all this money and it didnt do squat for performance?"

just found that the stock muffler is damn heavy compare the to the magnaflow for sure.
i am fine with that cause for sure on mid and high Rpm the car just keep pulling more.i really impress with the sound.plus the dual outlet tips is perfect and NOT look like that cannon fart.
can't wait to put the intake on na hopefully sound more meaner.

Congrats on your new muffler. Got any pics and sound clips of it?

As far as the intake, if sound is what you're looking for, it will not disappoint for sure. Power-wise, if you don't figure out how to hook up the hoses you WILL lose a lot of power especially down low and slightly in higher rpms (or at least that was the case with me). Hope it works out with you.
