if ur looking for a good sound in a daily driver then yes an SRI is nice. You wont gain any hp, you will even loose your max hp. You need a cold air intake to increase your horsepower.
get it for $120? oh wait......i see it on ebay. you might lose some HP in the powerbands with the hot engine air, but if you can change it to a cai. it'll be worth it.

when its cold itll be better, when its hot itll be shitter.
nice and simple, but either way itll sound like you have more under the hood then you do =)

Before you all go off on tangents first try answering his question which was "which is better injen or weapon r." To answer your question between the two stick with Injen. Weapon R have always had a bad rep and I've been in the Camry 'world' since 1992.
Secondly, if you want performance either A)stick with your stock air box and throw in a K&N filter or get a true CAI. The Weapon R is a SRI (Short Ram Intake) which actually draws warm air from the engine bay and cuts down on power. Psychologically people believe their cars are faster because of the noise when in fact they are slower.
Jon..
p.s. on second thought you have a 4 cylinder. Unless you are willing to throw in big bucks towards performance maybe just stick to the visual mods such as a lowering kit (i.e. springs/struts) or a body kit,or even interior such as a short shifter, etc. Why make a lot of noise if you aren't going anywhere fast?
Why do people always assume that CAI gives you this crazy cold blast of air thats extremely better for your engine? The real world effectiveness of CAIs is completely exaggerated. Firstly, the increased length of a CAI creates more pumping losses because of their length: 1) by the increased length and added wall friction, and 2) by the number of bends, which not only create friction but eliminate laminar flow. Laminar flow is desirable to maintain intake charge veloctiy, which is just as important if not more than intake temperature. The other problem with CAIs is the myth that they're actually in fact cold. Yes, the air entering the intake is colder than the air in an engine bay, but since most(all as far as I know) CAIs are made of aluminum, which has fantastic thermal conductivity, by the time the air gets to the intake manifold, it's as or nearly as hot as air taken from the engine bay. If you, or anyone you know has a CAI, you know it gets nearly as hot as the valve cover after driving for a while.
A short ram intake on the other hand, minimizes pumping losses, and can make due with smaller diameter piping, which also aids in velocity.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

^You can pretty much use any heat shield that has the same diameter as your intake piping in the place where it mounts to it, provided that it comes mounting brackets.
terrastrife, wouldn't that be pretty much like a stock airbox with aluminum piping? I mean, I can see how that would be effective against losses, but I still don't see how you'd be getting any gains.
