2nd Generation plug wire options???? is there??

ok i have a 90 dx I4 3s-fe. the only aftermarket plug wires i can find are the Nology ones.(are they worth that much money?) Are there any other brands out there for the gen 2 4cyl? i tried searching for NGK ones but only found em for the 3rd gen and up!

also how big of a diff will a set of denso iridiums work in this motor? any other plug suggestions? i have read some posts about copper ones, but cannot find any, i am currently running denso/ngks. thanks again! other perf oriented mods are: custom intake(homade short ram w/ heat shield, custom cat back exhaust(2 1/4" piping back to universal muffler).

Well.........

performance wise plug wires don’t do n e thing. If you’ve got a weak spark its usually that f****** ignition coil. <on the bottom of the distributor and what’s more fun is that you HAVE to take the distributor off to change it.

check the connectors at the end, sometimes they bend and become loose, squeeze them together with a needle nose plier for a tighter fit.

someone pls explain to me How Plug wires DEGRADE over time?

else check the moving parts of the spark mechanism if any, else the coil.

good luck

Well…. Plug wires degrade because of several factors mainly the heat from the engine, oxygen, and even the electrical current they carry.

Yo check out this site NGK.COM, these spark plugs are dirt cheap and they have a good name, I am now running Bosch plugs with NGK wire, and I have no problems should have used NGK plugs but I had already bought the Bosch plugs, but anyways good shopping like i said click here to go the site and look for the search by car on the left hand side GOOD STUFF if you know what i mean for pretty much any car, wires are about half the price as compared to BS plugs at the auto parts store
