Question 3vz - 2vz differences?

Hey guys i have one big question for you, I have a 2vz and i hear that the 3vz is not much different. I would like to know what are the differences besides one is 3.0 liter and one is 2.5 liter. I have found some parts for the 3vz and i was wondering if they are interchangable for example: heads, cams, throttle body, etc. are most parts interchangable? which ones aren't? thanks for your help

Nothing is interchagable engine wise..without machining. TB won't fit as the intake size/design is different, so ud need an adaptor plate..but even then, the TPS and IAC might be different,... heads won't work as the coolant passages etc are all different...cams won't just bolt right in, ud need machining and some custom bits for it to work properly..and as far the ECU can handle all of this, no idea.

idealy they are similar, in reality, spec wise, very very different, my suggestion...dont attempt interchanging any engine related parts,. they will only cause you problems
