From what i'e read, the difference between the 3s-fe and 3s-ge were the head designs, so does that mean it is possible to put the head off a GE into the FE? does all the extra power of the GE come from the head design? (i wouldn't think so?) would it cost a bundle to do this conversion, would it be better off getting the whole GE engine?

Which GE engine was the most powerful-and from what car?

Yes you can bolt on the 3sge head to a 3sfe because the block is the same. You would have to put pistons made for the 3sge in there and you would have to figure out the wiring but it will fit.

would it be cheaper than to buy the whole GE engine? if not would you take the FE engine out of the engine bay to put on the head? would you get the GE's kind of power, or would other stuff have to be modified as well?

I don't know if it would be cheaper to just put in a whole 3sge engine or not I haven't looked into those prices so I don't know. It would probably be wiser to just get a 3sge and drop it in because if you get a 3sge head to just put in you will still need to take the block out and rebuild the bottom end since you are putting more power in there and you want the bottom end to hold up with the top end.
