4th Generation What makes more power?

Yo I have a 99 LE inline 4, 5SFE engine and I am looking for more power, like the rest of us, my question is should I get a underdrive crankshaft pulley, and exhaust before I do my final mod of an ecu ungrade, or should I get the ecu upgrade before I do the other mods? in a previous thread this guy said he had gains of about 2.7 or so hp after his ecu upgrade, and on the Unorthodox page they said there gains between 8 and 15 hp, with the underdrive crank pulley. Has anyone dyno their car after putting one in? and were there any gains that is worth spendgin 200 bucks on?

you always want to tune your ecu last unless you do a large upgrade (turbo)

it's more logic when you add a performance mod in your car first, then upgrade/tune you ECU to match witht the new performance mod to get the most power out of it

most people are dissapointed with gains made from minor bolt ons. those ppl are ppl who wanted to haul ass, whereas ppl who are happy are ones who only wanted a bit more spunk.

considerable (im talking 30hp considerable) gains can be made in 4 common ways from cheap to expensive, and probably in reverse order for reliability too, but thats dependant on how you, yourself as a driver and tuner behave:

nitrous - an easy one person afternoon job which wont cost the bank for the inital install, instant quick power, but constant refils (a 10lbs bottle will last 5 minutes at most) begin to get costly
forced induction - turbo or supercharge, more work, but not as much as youd think. keep her cool and youll be fine
or (i need a name for this) all motor mechanical tuning - get some heavy duty internals, serious head work and hypo cams, probably the most 'desirable' way to make the power but costly and time consuiming for a camry.

i have the Unorthodox pulley, and you do notice some gain. i've never had the time to dyno though...

overall, you do feel an increase in hp, and i'd say about at least 5hp gain (Unorthodox says 8-15, but you know companies always overrate their stats).
