I understand that alot of you have exhaust systems. Most of you with gen 3 have custom cat back system, my question is do you use mandrel bent piping or do you use machine bent?

Mandrel bent flows more air, around 2x% more than machine bent.

if you got a turbo, or sc then yeah i would tell you go ahead with the mendrel, but since you just doing bolt ons, if you put it on the dyno and compare you might see a 1 hp increase, but regular bending is usually cheaper, so i mean its really up to you what you want to do, i know of a guy that has a 99 z28 and hes got headers and ypipe, but from that point on he bend everything himself from the cats back on a regular bender still on juice and stock motor the went 11.60 and the 3" going over the rearend looked pretty cramped  , i'm sure he would of done .2 better if he would of had nice mendrel stuff but once again on juice.
i hope that helps
