2nd Generation 4 Runner Flywheel fit Camry?

Does anybody know if the '88-'94 4-Runner V6 flywheel will fit on a '90 V6 Camry. I know that they use a VZ engine also but I am not sure about the flywheel.

The plan is to modify my Gen2 V6 Camry from auto to manual. I have located a tranny, but no flywheel. A new Camry flywheel from Toyota is about $360, and I have located a 4-Runner flywheel for a very good price.

might have a bolt spacing or thickness problem as they run R151(?) boxes, not our S and E boxes.

why not just go all out and get a fidanza lightweight? cheaper then OEM.

Hmm thats an interesting question. Somehow though, i don't think it will. Since the Truck is RWD, the positioning of the clutch and parts would be different. I have a feeling that the flywheel would be thicker (quite thick actually), wheras the FWD one is thin. Bolt pattern would be the same for sure. All V6 FWD flywheels are the same (from 1988 to 2001 and possible later, havn't checked). So you could use ANY of them, they all use the same bolt pattern and are all the same thickness. Also, the MR2 3SGTE (SW20) flywheel is the same bolt pattern and will fit, however is 0.5" too small and MAY slip, since the V6 has quite a bit of torque. On my conversion, I used a 1993 3VZ-FE flywheel. Bolted in and to this day is working 100%.

PS. If you need any info/pics/advice, let me know (or others of course) because I have done the swap myself and have lots of info.

I looked at the Fidenza Flywheel as Terrastrife suggested, but the price is not much better that stock, but would be a better buy for sure.

I am going to expand my search to include the later models as you suggested Jetspeed.
I'll hit you up if I need any help, and I'll let you know if I am successful in my search.

Thanks guys.
