Radiator Problem (MAJOR)

Ok guys i recently had my engine blow up on me, I got the damn thing replaced but now i am have a radiator problem. When i drive a short distance it's fine nothing happens,but when i drive for a long period time my radiator will steam from the top. I have replaced the radiator cap and checked everything out and i have come up with nothing. If anyone knows what it could be i would love to know how to fix it b/c steam is not kewl when u are trying to impress ppl. Thanks to anyone who has some info on this matter.

well...check for these....
thermostat, hose(cracks, loose clamp etc), bleeding rad properly....and water pump....and make sure if your coolant is 60/40 antifreeze and water....well depending on where you live tho....
do you know where exactly the steam coming from???

I have checked the thermostat and all the hoses everything is fine to me and my friend's eye. So do u have any other idea's. Thanks for the help TRDragoon if u can think of anything else plz let me know.

If you're positive that parts aren't failing, make sure the system is bled properly and free of air pockets.

How did you check the thermostat? About the only way I know is to put in a new one.

instead of just bleeding the rad get it flushed backwards. i had that done and you shoulda seen all the crap that came out.

o back to your shop and complain that they mest something up when rebuilding your engine. you might get the poblem fix for free or atleast they will tell you whats failing on you so they don't have to take the blame.
