Gap on Headlight

Why is there a gap usually on the passenger side headlight (gen 3)
causing the light not to fit properly?
if anyone knows what i mean.

Do you mean right above the headlight and the hood where there's a black rubber seal around it? I have a weird gap too, it looks like my headlights are gonna fall out. I know that a common problem for the Gen 3 lights is that some brace thingy always breaks so that you can't balance your headlights properly....

If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you might have a broken clip that holds the headlight housing in its proper place. Those things are really sensitive that way.
