Thumbs up Mufflers!!

Ok I have checking out Universal Mufflers on EBay, I noticed that day are cheaper then getting a (NAME BRAND) one. Like APex, HKS, Tenzo, etc. Is there a difference between them, I have friend that bought a Carbon Fiber muffler from EBay and got it installed and sounded great with a performance increase. It has been about 2 years and still works like a charm. So tell me is there really a difference?

Basically put, the higher the price, the better quality you get. Both sound and reliability.

i had a cheap muffler on the old car... and it lost some sound over time...

they really do not look as good up close - and even often from a distance...

you really get what you pay for, and the reason things cost some more is generally from better construction, more R&D, and just a better product

i am very picky with what i put on my car now, and it pays off in my happiness, and my impression of the car - and also how others see it

i'd say go save up some money and buy magnaflow.. i've seen some magnaflow on ebay for cheap.. i got those cheap muffler from ebay.. well, sometimes it sounds nice but sometimes the sound changes on mine.. i'm not sure about performance.. but my muffler is building up rust right now.. and i'm just waiting for TRP(Team Redline Performance) to produce a cat-back..

Mufflers!! ... supposed to Muffle (quiete) the sound from your exhaust. I would not get that at all unless you already have some other modifications.

Slowcar + Loud Noice= RacingCar Noise at 25mph

thats solid, i really like my magnaflow... i personally think the oval body looks better than the cannon style, but its all opinion and personal preference
