Pimpin' 8) But, wouldn't it be just as easy to do what SilverStk did? If you have the patience, you could slather on some bondo and mold it smoothly and then paint it to match.
here's Camry2000's handy work on his Gen4

No it wouldnt be easier because u have to do all the things u just said to make it look as good! Plus how much are those pods ours are gonna be 60$ or less and im sure thats not much more then those and without any work just pop on and off, perfect fit and stock interior look!
I think its worth it or I wouldnt be taken time and money to do it! Why would they make em special for any car if it wasnt needed, its for perfect fit without any bondo or extra work!
I think it's worth it, especially if you don't have the time or patience! I paid about $75Cdn for my dual pods (about $45 US) and I still haven't found the time to actually make it fit properly. I know I got ripped off at that price...but if you could sell it for lower than $60US, I don't think that's too unreasonable. As for me, I'm thinkin of just selling all my gauges and the pod.
yeah well 60 is reasonable considering the cost for tooling and material and the time and effort ive put into them. They look great and i can wait to get them movin...very very soon!

hey, just remember that when you sell them in the spring (or whenever a bit later) come to me first!!

Not to get off topic, what are the most useful guages i can put on my car which has no engine mods except intake and is an automatic? I want the guages for the "look" and i admit i am a ricer so please no negative posts. However i am planning on a sound system. So i would like ot know my choices in guages for this future guage pod.
if your going to have a sound system, especially a big one, and you want a useful gauge, then get one that measures volts so you can see how much juice you got left
$60 is not bad at all. I assume it still needs to be primered and painted. Sandpaper, primer and paint should cost you no more than $20. So at $80, not bad at all.
It costed me about $60 from start t finish. $35 for the dual pod and another $25 for fiber glass, sandpaper, adhesive promoter, primer and paint. Not to mention lot's of elbow grease.
