can i get the RPMs movin??

Anybody know any tricks/mods i can do to my engine to make my RPMs change quicker? weird sounding i know, let me explain. When I punch the gas pretty good, its takes the engine about 4-5 seconds to get abck to idle. Does anyone know how or if I can change that to where it goes back down to idle quicker? seems like most civics are set like that to go down quicker and I wanted mine to be like that.

screw that, 90% of America's youths got em, and they're all the same: 18" Konigs with 35 tires, open mouth front end with bodykit, momo short shifter and knob, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber interior trim, racing seats with 5 point harness, some kinda loud exhaust, APC cone filter (which filters nothing), their car club name in japanese writing across the windshield, neon lights inside and uncer car, lowered (or slammed), SAME THING OVER AND OVER!!! thats the good thing bout the Cam, no one's got em... But nuf of my bitchin, back to the question, anyone know if this can be done WITHOUT buying a civic???

i don't think you can really change the reading of your tach....they are jus following what the crank position sensors are reading....unless you decelerate by putting loads...and the reason why they decelerate slow is cuz of the momentum still left from the high torque.<<----dunno how to explain this very well

Lightened crank pulley to underdrive accessories would make your tach a little jumpier.

If you have a 5-spd you could get a lightened flywheel as well.
