I completely disassembled calipers (front and rear), sandblasted it, primed it, painted it red (3 coats). But I'm a nut (wife says so), you don't have to disassemble it. I used a high-temp clearcoat (3 coats) to finish, bought online, really makes it pop...Had the damn thing in the oven baking the paint for every coat (very low heat, don't melt the seals/dustboots), wife really loved that smell...I paid the price but they are nice..hehehe

lol i just did mine. But i didnt use high temp paint coz the shops here just use normal stuff.
No cracks or anything in the paint and i know it has been very hot coz i was "playing" in the twisties.

I actually did 5 coats =P A little excessive i know but hey =P. Didnt take the calipers off either.

And they are now EXTREMELY red! All i need is a little trd sticker to stick on it =P hahahahaha

lol i'm serious. The tyre shops here will just use normal spray paint $2.50AU and spray it for you. Any colour you want. But they dont cover anything when they do it. I was watching them. All they do is spray it and said that the brakes will clean up the disks by itself.

And it is actually not very common to find trd stickers here =( I really want some. Then clear coat over it so it stays

I'll take a pic of it tomorrow =)
