Fastest gen4 and camry overall? im just curious lol. if anyone knows the 0-60, quarter mile, horse pwoer and torque numbers and engine type that would be nice too =D. im just asking for kicks.
NOt sure about gen4 but as far as people that are regularly on here I would probably say Tony the Tiger with his 392 WHP 94 Camry. There is someone that is on here that has a Solara that is used for racing only though I think
I know tony had jsut said not to long ago that his is still driven on a regualr basis.

gen4 12MZ is about 186 or so I think. that is at the flywheel not the wheels You loose what 15% from the flywheel to the wheels.
Well you can get numbers that high if you want to spend about 20,000 to get there. Of course Tony has stated that he is looking to get 500HP to the wheels at some point. SO no telling how much more it will cost.

Let's hope I can get an official time when the upcoming season starts... The car does take daily beating, so let's see if it holds up I'd figure if I can put down about 450WHP for this summer by upping a bit more boost while still being safe, I can do an 11 sec pass on street tires without depending too much on a good launch (I will be running the same tires I use on the streets though -- Pzero Corsa's).
Sometimes if one asks how much it costs to build a one of a kind custom project car, it usually means that they are not ready yet When I was building up my Camry, I already knew what the costs were and I try to stay on budget. It was either trading in my '94 Camry for a newer stock Gen4 or Gen5. A new car would mean that I have to sink in $15000-18000 for a mint Camry V6 with at least rims/suspension/brakes/bolt-ons, or perhaps use that budget and have fun with my old Gen3

I'm the fastest... Dual stage NOS kit with motec exhaust system, BITCHES!
But in all seriousness (is that a word), I think there are couple guys that are maxed out with external modifications of the engine and with a lot of fuel management. I would like to see a 400whp Gen 4 or Solara.
