Man I was once in the same boat as you. I had a bone stock 97 i4 automatic Camry and no car knowledge. I learned everything I could and I swapped to a 5 speed (S51) and shorteden the shifter, made a clutch hardline, installed an ACT upgraded clutch, remover the engine balance shafts, installed an unorthodox underdrive pulley, I lowered it 1.8 inches on Tein s-tech springs, tokico struts, added 18 inch konig wheels, Added clear corners, intake, redid the whole interior, shaved emblems, pinstripes, mudguards, added 4 twelves in the trunk, redid the gauges in blue, all the lights, added a hideaway liscense plate, deleted the air conditionig and now my new goal is turbo, I have made a downpipe and cutom fittings so far, autometer gauges in an a-pillar I made, supra injectors, fpr, fp, intercooler, bov, added a wideband o2 setup, the list goes on and on.
