Ok this is it, I have search and have not come up w/ a decision so I need ur help. I have been trying to decide which coilovers to get, JIC coilovers or the ksport coilovers. I have a 94 Camry which means I would have to get the spindles and break assembly from a gen 4 Camry if I wanted the JIC coilovers. I have done a search and some ppl say ksport are rebaged d2 and are junk, and others say they are fine. I would rather get ksport because they make them for my Camry, plus they are cheaper. I am ready to by coilovers I just can not decide, so I really need help in deciding. If the quality of JIC coilovers are so much better than I would go w/ them. But if ksport coilovers are decent & will last me for a while than I will get them. Also, if this Camry is my daily driver what should I be running in the front and rear. Guys this is my last post about coilovers, after this thread I am making my decision so help me out. Also, if any one is selling their coilovers pm me and I might buy.
for light street the D2/Ksport are fine (with the stock soft springs) anymore and get the JIC ones.

I work at JIC as a Marketing Director. If you have any particular questions in regards to coilovers, let me know. yukio@jic-magic.com

So this is for a daily driver? If so, you don't need the JIC. Like terrastrife said the D2/Ksport's are fine. And yeah you can get the soft stock spring rate.

The thing is, you guys are comparing apples and bannanas.
JIC FLT-A2's are MONOTUBE and have a stronger inverted monotube damper system. Also they include pillow ball upper mounts and camber plates. Monotube dampers also allows customization of valving and maintanance over a long period of time. They are the most expensive but will be the best investment IMO.
D2's are Twin tube and offer the same features, BUT you will not get the same performance out of a twin tube damper. They tend to heat up under longer periods and do not have a feature of custom valving and maintanance. You have to buy new CARTIRDGES for when you blow your damper. These are more ideal for the daily driver but you have to keep in mind, quality is not that great. I have these coilovers and I DO work for JIC... so I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible. (I got them before working at JIC)
JIC also has the FLT-A1's which has the same features as the FLT-A2's except it's the twin tube design. Again, I believe that monotube is the best, but this is for the street cars. You do have to get cartidges when they blow. Difference between our twin tube and D2's twintube is that ours have a wider shaft for less performance fade than other twin tubes out in the market.
TEIN's are probably the least appealing since they do not come with Pillow ball upper mounts and camber plates. They also have a twin tube damper. Honestly, they're "OKAY" but people tend to get TEIN's because of the name and people don't realize that they're not getting the features that they need.
Those are my opinions... take it as it is. Hope this helps.
