I had problems with the distributor in my 95 Camry. After it came back from the garage the airbag light remains on. Can anybody please direct me how to reset it or disable it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
IF you do a search fro airbag light you should be abel to find directions for doing this. I know it has been on here many times before. SOmeone has scanned it from the repair manual. OR if all else fails you can go to the repair manual sticky at the top of the page and use it to help you clear it out. It is not as easy as resetting the ECU after you get a CEL. You cant jsut unhook the battery or pull the EFI fuse.

usually its nothing much,,maybe a malfunctioning sensor not a big deal,,i had the same problem,,all u do is take ur battery off and then put it back on and the whole car system will reset,,and the airbag light would be gone
or just remove your gauge cluster, take some black tape to cover it. That's what I did with my camry when I put my sparco steering wheel on. hahaha.

depends on the reason why the srs light was on in the first place- but usually just disconnecting the battery doesn't work - that's why it needs to be reset

Holy crap I'm still hosting that pic...that's where all my bandwidth is going to!!
Read through this thread first before attempting, more hints in there. Basically, use a good ground when you attempt this. I fixed speedemn's airbag for him, and a few months later he crashed his Camry into a concrete barrier...and the airbag went off! I saved that guy's life!

No that's not correct. You cannot reset a malfuntioning sensor by disconnecting the battery. That resets the ECU, and the airbag system does not get reset.
Just remember, when the airbag light is on, your airbags will NOT deploy.....
I tried to reset the lights using the toyota manual procedure that was linked here. But it didnt work. The cruise light keeps coming on and off when i try to ground one of the connectors. After grounding the connectors one by one, I have the srs airbag light flashing and going off for a while but then it doesnt go off completely and then It remains on. Does anybody have idea, whats happening?

Yeah, your SRS system is fucked like stated above. Pull the code and then we can help. IF there is a problem, resetting the sytem will be useless.
