Well, I got a visit from the Turbo Bug and it bit me...
After a lot of thinking if I should spend A LOT of money building a Turbo for my Camry or if I should sell it and get a car that's MUCH EASIER to Turbo, I decided I'll go the hard way...
So, I'm gonna ask for advices on which are the basic parts and brands I should be looking for to start collecting them to start my project, which other modifications I should start considering so I can put the Turbo in, etc, etc....
I saw the sticky for the 5S-FE but I know it will be a completely different job with the 1MZ.. Tony The Tiger, you're gonna be reading a lot of PM's from me...
Good luck I hope you have a good job that pays you well, plenty of knowledge on turbo's in general and not just that, knowledge on camry's. Ive been looking into it for about 4 months now and im just buying my actual turbo, i havent even thought about manifolds or any of that.....
Just do a TRD SC... less headache and a lot less MONEY.

Yea ive been looking for the 1mz supercharger for about 6 months now... No luck. Ive called places on the west coast, east coast, central US, everywhere man and theres none of them to be found, it fuckin sucks!!!
i dont know much about your engine, but... your going to need
a good turbo
manifold (might be able to use the stock and route the downpipe in a good way)
injectors
oil lines
coolant lines (if the turbo uses it)
2 bar map sensor (not sure if those engine use map... i dont think so so this one is useless)
engine management
gauges
intercooler...
etc. it goes on, check out my car domain for my list of stuff needed. its for a 5sfe, but its mostly the same
try this, I saw this link for a S/C over on the sienna forum. I know it says it is for the sienna but it is the same engine. I am sure there are some things that are different but it may be worth a shot.
The engine is the same. However the brakcets and other parts are most likely different. I cant imagine the brackets causing that much of a difference though.

it goes brake pads, mufflers, and then the superchargers. This is where I was planning on buying mine, I was having a hard time finding them and then i came across this site. Its a good site, lots of cool stuff. enjoy

With a V6 you need 2 manifolds coming together at a Y pipe, both which youll probably have to have fabricated somewhere. Its not cheap, and if your doing it right youll want a O2 bung in the Y pipe....
