well my left side headlight harness mealted and now sometimes when i turn on my headlights the side that has the burnt harness doesnt let enough electricity go thru so my headlight is like low yellow. i hit the headlight so it works normally. is there a way to replace this harness with heavy duty wiring? or just a diagram that shows the wiring so i can do it my self?

Toyota has wiring for those...if your local dealer says they can't get it they are lieing.
If you don't want to deal with your local dealer.....go to your local parts store and get a repair piece. it's not hard to do.

Just buy an upgraded wiring harness. You can find them all over, e.g. www.suvlights.com

Best bet, if you do go stock again, is to just go clip one from a car in a junkyard, cut yours out, and attatch them. My friend just did it to his melted ones.

^ Yup Yup. Good point.

Maybe this should be moved to General Discussion, so people that can help but don't have a Camry will see it? Get more of a response? Just a though.

Good luck.

That's just a replacement relay. You need the full harness.

Just pick the bulb you have (H4 I think). There's two options for H4. Either should be ok.

another question. there are 3 red wires on the harness. one has a blue strip, the other one has a white strip and the last one has a black strip. I'm assuming the one with the black strip is ground but which one is high beam and low beam on the other 2 wires? i ask this because i might just replace the plug since that's what melted and if it happens again ill replace the whole harness..............ty

If all that melted this time was the connector, you're lucky. When an overflow of current occurs, it can fry any part of the wiring harness in your car. Next time it fries, there's no telling what part of your electrical system will go.
