What do u guys think of this?

D.I.Y Fuel Regulator Modification
Want more power? Want better throttle reponse? Better pickup? But you do not want to spend hundreds getting a fuel regulator? Ok, modify your stock fuel regulator (which can be undo) with the cost of less than RM30! Great? You better believe it!!!

What You Need :
1) A breather (small filter used for head covers)
2) A screw.
3) Some piping tapes.

Steps :
1) Locate the stock fuel regulator.
2) Remove the pipe that connects the throttle body and the stock fuel regulator.
3) Jam up the pipe from throttle body with the screw.
4) Install the breather at the fuel regulator.
5) CONGRATS! Your done with the mods!

You will get instant improvement in response. But bear in mind, it's mother nature's law. More power means more fuel. So, this mod will actually temper with your fuel economy intake. To me, as long as it gives me power, I don't really care much of it.

Do u guys think this would work, specifically for Gen 2? it seems a little simple to me, just putting a little filter on the fuel regulator. could it possibly mess any sensors, that sort of thing?

Something with a do it yourself fuel pressure reglator isn't something you want to mess with unless you are a professional. I myself wouldn't even mess with it. I understand that fuel pressure regulators are not cheap but there is a reason for that. Remember you get what you paid for and for me I have an adjustable TRD one on my car that I paid 100 for and it is great. I ended up having to pay another 50 for the pressure gauge and the fittings to get the regulator to fit but it is nice and it looks nice. Which speaking of that I am starting to sell a fuel rail and lines that will fit a fuel pressure regulator. And you can get a weapon R regulator on nopi for not that much and it comes with a gauge.

That mod doesn't increase the total fuel pressure at all... it just removes the vacuum line off the stock fuel regulator and lets the car run at full fuel pressure at partial throttle. As a result, you lose fuel economy, lose partial throttle response (running too rich) and look plain stupid.

In order to let the engine get more fuel and make more power (assuming that your engine needs more fuel after some bolt-ons) , you will need to increase the fuel pressure at full throttle. The only way to do it is to get a fuel pressure regulator, or get those B&M fuel flow modifier which you modify the stock regulator.
