Gas smell

Just changed the head gaskets on my 92 3VZ-FE motor.
Got all the help and support from everyone here, thanks !!
However, I'm smelling a very strong gas odor inside the car when not moving very fast in traffic or sitting at light.
I did replace the"O" rings on both ends of the injectors and all three of the banjo fitting are tight without any sign of leakage.
In trying to get a close look at the injectors, it appeared that the back (#1,3,&5)
appear to be wet, possibly from gas leaking around "O" rings but it's very hard to see in there and nothing on my fingers when trying to rub them.
Should I have put vasaline or something on the ends to help them seal, is there some other places I should be looking?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the time people will put vaseline or something similar to help installation of the injectors. IT jsut helps to push the injectors into the fuel rail. SOmtimes if you dont eh o-ring can come out of the groove it sits in or can get pinched and tear. the only other thing is check all connections again maybe even at the fuel filter connection

Thanks Cyorke, I'll have a look again to make sure the rail is seated down, cant emagine it comming lose with the two bolts holding it down though.
Anyone know if there is a sealant that can be used there, or should I just get new "O" rings?

jsut replace the orings. Youdont want to use any kind of sealant because it could somehow get inot the injector and clog it or into the intake manifold and do the same.
